After the agreement with Maryland State Government,
JGBLI works for promotion
of exchanges between Korea and the U.S.,
and accomplished the following :

  • MOU agreement with Department of Business and Economic Development, Montgomery County (Steve Silverman, Director)
  • LOI agreement with Johns Hopkins University (Elaine Amir, Dean)
2009-01

  • Lecture in Korea Food and Drug Administration (Yeo Pyo Yoon, Commissioner)
  • Lecture in Gyeonggi Bio Center (Hee Jung Kim, Director)
  • Lecture in Daejeon Bio Center(Joon Byoung Park, Director)
  • Lecture in Gyeongnam Bio 21 Center(In Yung Ko, Director)
  • Discussion in Multi-functional High-tech Complex, Gyeongbuk, Daegu (Jong Chul Kim, Director)
  • Participate in Exhibition at Korea Business Convention(Songdo Convensia, Incheon) (Sang Soo Ahn, Mayor)

  • Visitation and cooperate in Gyeongbuk delegation for hightech complex(Sung-kyong Kim, Director of Economy (Maryland Department of Business Development, Montgomery County, NIH, FDA, NIST, Johns Hopkins University, Cangene Bio-Corporation and BioPark Cluster of University of Maryland)
  • Supervision of MOU conclusion between Incheon (Sang Soo Ahn, Mayor) and Baltimore (Songdo exclusive industrial zone developmental collaboration)
  • Supervision of MOU conclusion between Hanbat University (Dong Ho Seol, President) and Johns Hopkins University (Joint research and exchange of students and professors in biotechnology)
